They continue down this path of subtle racism (or perhaps it's rather blatent).
At first I read the byline regarding them calling Michelle Obama, Barack's Baby Mama, and was marginally annoyed. But then it started to eat at me.
Even if you aren't keen on Obama, you should take offense to this. She is no more a "baby mama," than Cindy McCain is a cunt (FYI I don't use this word, there is a post below in which the associates of J.McCain reported that he called his wife one, so I've been over-using it in that context).
Black women are constantly portrayed as good for nothings in media. Here we have a Ivy League educated woman, that is in what appears to be a loving relationship and has a beautiful family...and she is reduced to the name that is played out on Maury's show?
Times like this, I question...what can I, SunFresh, do to stop this? Any suggestions?
