It's a blog thing, you wouldn't understand.

Lol - this is a reference to the fact that there was a joke that there needs to be a code amongst people in blog-world. I don't know if this holds true for everybody; however, I think there is a commonality amongst people that find/seek refuge in internet mediums.

At this time, I can't quite articulate what is comforting for me. Essentially, there are times, when I crave interaction without the action. Also, interaction via the internet is easily controlled. If somebody says something that you disagree with, you can debate, but you can also shut them off. And nobody's feelings get hurt. They are not vested in you, and you are not vested in them. You simply exchange ideas, but don't exchange emotion and/or feeling.

It's almost impossible to do this in person. Too many human elements come into play. On the nets, physical appearance rarely comes into play, you allow people to see you for who you are...and they are not distracted by the many imperfections that we all possess. So there is comfort. Ehh - I went WAYYY off topic. At least way off topic than what lead me to blog at this 2:09 am moment.
