Desperate times call for desperate measures

I was talking to my white gay boyfriend about the election. He is convinced that Obama has it in the bag. And I confessed my fear that the Bradley effect will smack us in the face with a nasty surprise. He agreed that a month ago, he didn't think a black man could win; however, he said that the quasi-racist white men are finally putting their fear of losing their job/wealth ahead of race. He said, and I quote, "I mean SunFresh, Desperate times call for Desperate Measures."
