Also completely unrelated. Ladies, when dating, is it reasonable to ask yourself, "If I got pregnant by accident right now with this man, would I be comfortable?" I am not talking about after the first date, but when you start to develop a routine with a guy and are really dating, or for lack of better word, "going steady."
I think that's the question I will ask myself. To me, it's not enough to be into their laughs, personality ect. Especially in terms of marriage. Perhaps this will be my great marriage deterrant. The Secret somewhat teaches that we are not who we were yesterday. Who we are is a residual of all of the decisions that we made in the past.
So if I look at a person who is 30+ and is still trying to find a way...am I to be cautious that he has questionalbe judgment, limited foresight? Sure you have to take risks every once in a while. But once you start caring for more than just yourself, the risk factor increases a million fold. Err - dating was easier when I was younger!
