I'm giddy about this new guy. I'll call him Borders. We met Friday night. His initial approach was all wrong and oh-so-typical. But as we continued talking, he felt more like a friend, instead of a dude that was trying to sleep with me. And typically I shy away from uber attractive people b/c they have some sense of entitlement. He recognizes that he's attractive, but he values his personality even more. He's excitable. I'm pretty calm and laid back, he's like a rambunctious little kid. He likes to lay out the world as he sees it (expectations). Like last night we had a conversation about "phone etiquette." As simple as it was, it's nice to understand what one perceives as polite and rude. He makes me laugh. He makes me talk. We talked 5 hours one night and 2.5 the next. I told him, I can't sustain that because I need sleep, but I thoroughly enjoy chatting it up with him. I'm trying to "play coy" and wait until he invites me out to do something...but quite frankly I want to see him again to make sure that my drunk eye wasn't working. I want to make sure that he finds me attractive.
Whatever, I might suggest to him that we meet up at Starbucks and or Borders for a mini date. (plus I want to feel up on his big burly biceps). I'm not into games...if he's taken aback by my forwardness - then he's not the one for me anyway.
